_ivy) have been keeping an older journal (

crazyferrets) for my beloved ferret, Bella (sometimes typed as "Bellah"). I have finally decided she needs a newer, more up-to-date one, since she is doing much, much more these days and getting older, too. I've been involving her in as much as possible. With my new computer, I am also able to share a lot more photographic evidence of her ferretiness. I love to spoil her. She is also very much like my carry-around companion. She's with me a lot throughout the day. My life would be very different if she was not around.

I adopted Bella in October of 2004, from our local animal control facility. She was placed in a box with her leash, harness, toys, shampoo and food outside of their door one morning when they got there. Meaning, nobody knows how long she had been in that box prior to them getting there to open the facility. This also means nobody knows anything about her history, her age, parents, nothing at all. After her vet checks came out perfectly fine, I began interacting with her, and to my surprise, her fault was...she was just a nippy, overly-excited ferret!! Aren't they all? I mean, if that is the reason whoever dropped her off at animal control did so...didn't they do their research first? To this day, Bella is just a tad nippy, but she knows her limits with me. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her, at all, and she's still a total sweetheart (even moreso than before, of course!).

Anyway, here is where I will share photos of my beloved Bella. I will also share our adventures together, and just any random things that go on in my lovely girl's life. We both hope you will want to befriend us, and keep a watch on this journal. We both love meeting new people!! Everyone is welcome. We'll add anyone!!

Also, this journal is strictly friends only. This doesn't mean you have to know me to add it. It is only this way to hopefully prevent pictures from being stolen. I will usually decline if asked for permission to use a picture for anything, but it really depends on what you want it for. Please don't hesitate to ask me for permission, even if I do say no. DO NOT take any pictures without my permission. Legal action will be taken if I find any stolen pictures in whole or in part, or if I am directed to any stolen pictures. I will often grant permission for pictures to be used as reference only, but even still, you have to ask. It's the right thing to do.
